Really tasty crepes, cute spot located close to the water. Only downside is it's kind of dark inside so not the best cafe if you're looking to come sit and read a book.

This café was a little crowded, but their espresso was strong and dark. they had a lot of little pastries which I didn't try, but I got a latte and it had a lot of flavor and foam.Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Bakery items were delicious and we had the crepes which were delicious. Nice little spot with great old town ambiance. The service was quick and people working here were really nice.

Stopped by Cafe du Soleil for brunch and it did not disappoint! I had the French toast--absolutely delicious and perfectly sweet. My husband went for the avocado toast, which he says was fresh and flavorful. The avocado was PERFECT. We also shared a plate of Beignets, and they were heavenly! The ambiance was super cool and laid-back, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I'd even come for WFH, but I'd have to beat the traffic to a table!

Highly recommened. The cafe is intimate and easily accessed from the main road. Paid parking available on street or garage. It is the perfect atmosphere for a meet up or to study. Wifi accessible for customers. The layout of the cafe could get a little cramped when it is busy when the line starts to form at the register. Food and drink items are ordered at the register first then the food is brought to you. Seating can be limited but you do have a choice of siting on a couch, bar stool or at a small table. First come, first serve type deal. The chai tea latte and quiche was very tasty and filling. Would definitely return. .

Stopped in for some fancy coffees and couldn't resist an order of the chocolate-filled beignets. Loved the coffees and the sweets! Space is warm, cozy and cool -- a very broad menu -- looking forward to returning for lunch!

I visit Old Town Alexandria at least once or twice a year. My only regret is that I did not try this café sooner. I can often see it from outside the window of my hotel room and I cannot tell you how many times I've thought about stopping in. The café is quaint, cozy, warm, and inviting. The service is beyond friendly. I can tell they have a lot of regular customers, a few were in there when I was. I had a large, warm, Blueberry, Scone, and a Latte. I've already made a mental list of what I want to try when I go back! (A savory crepe, Croque Madam, a slice of Quiche)... Perfect for breakfast or lunch. Whether you're dining alone or looking for a cozy place to enjoy your meal and maybe read a book or check your emails this cafe will exceed your expectations.

So yummy! A great cafe to check out. I wouldn't go to Alexandria just to eat here, but if you're in the area I definitely recommend checking this spot out. I ordered a croque monsieur, Nutella & banana crepe, and matcha latte. The food was yummy and the drink was great too! There was even a mixup with my drink where (I think) someone else grabbed mine, but the baristas were very kind in remaking mine and making sure it was right. I think asking for names or calling out order numbers with the drinks would help prevent this in the future, but it didn't really detract from my experience. The decor is really cozy and the overall vibe is casual. This is a great spot in Alexandria to meet up with friends to chat, study, or good old-fashioned people watch.
